When I started off compiling information,
storing quotes and getting thoughts down —
I thought what I originally wanted to say
would automatically come out.
The manuscript jerked to the left,
it veered to the right.
This is harder than I thought.
But I kept going, even though the wastebasket
was looking more like a better idea everyday.
I am a long way off, but learning to
surrender the story into God’s hands.
Letting him work in my heart and finding
that those things which don’t belong
are not useless BUT —
are for another time or in
Surrendering the story is not easy
when you want to say only certain things.
You’re like um, do I have to? But then
the truth is, the message is going to help people
and that is what it is all about in the end.
