By His Grace We Blog, Book Review
Carmen Brown is a Christian blogger whom I look up to. She is the author of By His Grace We Blog, a book filled with entrepreneurial tips and real grace for the faith-filled blogger. Carmen’s Facebook group for bloggers who want to be a part of an online community is inviting and nurturing. People are very open with their blogging and daily life struggles as well as willing to share of their time and efforts to help one another succeed.
For these reasons, I really wanted to read By His Grace Bloggers. When you come to know and trust a person, you value their input and you know what they offer is worth the time it takes to learn. Each of us has to follow the Lord according to how he is directing, and this is one of the areas Carmen talks about, amongst a number of other topics such as Pinterest, monetization, and confidence in your calling.
She shares from her very raw experience of the ups and downs we face when trying to pursue something in our hearts. One of my favorite lines within the pages is below.
“Blogging can become overwhelming and be tiring especially if you are just trying to hurry and build an empire overnight, which by the way I need to tell you is not realistic.” – Carmen Brown
This was a quick read for me and offered much wisdom, so I highly encourage a new blogger or someone seeking to do this, to buy Carmen’s book. It is not weighed down with extra fat. It is simple and to the point, offering scriptures to along with, as well.
If you want to buy, By His Grace We Blog on Amazon, it is currently $14.99, but sometimes it goes on sale for the Kindle. I was able to purchase my copy for only $0.99 so keep checking back for deals. I also recommend heading over to connect with Carmen by clicking the links below. You won’t regret it!
